Wouldn’t it be nice if healthcare was fixed? I was hoping we
found a way to make it more affordable and more efficient. But
it wasn’t really fixed was it? Just more people were added.
We heard how bad healthcare insurance companies are yet our
congress made it a crime if you don’t buy insurance from the
same companies who were blamed for the high costs before the new
healthcare legislation was approved. How is this better?
The loop hole for Medicare wasn’t really fixed. If you reach the
coverage gap this year and enter the Part D “donut hole”, you
will receive a one-time $250 rebate check if you are not already
receiving Medicare Extra Help. Your plan's tiered copay and
coinsurance amounts will only apply until you hit the coverage
gap, or "donut hole", equals $2,840 in 2011. Then you will begin
paying a discounted percentage of your drug costs. During the
coverage gap, you will pay 93% of the cost for generic drugs and
50% of the cost for brand name drugs. You will also pay a small
fee to the pharmacy. After your total drug costs hit $6,447.50,
you will pay 5% or less of the drug cost, and the plan will pay
the remaining 95%. It’s almost the same as before except for the
$250.00 rebate. Who pays the other 50%of name brand drugs?
Many of us asked why there are such high costs associated with
Medicare and Medicaid. Now we know its fraud perpetrated against
the federal government agency that administers payments for
these programs. In the new healthcare bill congress added 15,000
IRS agents to administer healthcare payments. This is better?
Question: Why is it illegal for a citizen to
pay the balance of his primary care donators bill when his doctor
demands more for his services than Medicare reimburses? Why are
doctors, seen by some, as predators’ nowadays? I asked all our
representatives this question and received the same healthcare form
letter everyone received. Some folks wish to voluntarily pay the
balance of a doctor’s fee to subsidize their own healthcare but
they’re told it’s illegal. Where do they think
we’re going to find all
these budget priced doctors? Instead our leaders decided to
fundamentally change healthcare by instructing us to pay insurance
companies and then made it a crime if we don’t.
